Default Amazon Cookie

Hello. I've been told that the Amazon affiliate cookie has a 24 hour lifespan. This means that if we referred someone to Amazon but they decided to buy after, say 7 days, we likely wouldn't get credit for the sale. Also I been told that if the link of the buy button to Amazon towards directly to the shopping card of the buyer in Amazon the cookie extends for 90 days.

it's this true?

because the links created in factory goes to the Amazon's product page, not to the shopping card directly...

Then, do we have just 24 hours to our clients buy the product?

Thanks...

Yes, that's correct if I understand Amazon's OA well (https://affiliate-program.amazon.com...help/operating).

While Amazon defines a "Session" as 24 hours from the time a person clicks your link, you can actually be credited for sales up to 89 days after that initial click.

As long as that customer adds items to their cart during that initial Session, you may earn a commission for that sale up to 89 days later.

Is there a way to have the datafeedr Buy buttons go directly to the amazon add to cart page?

As you say above, this would extend the cookie from 1 day to 90 days, so seems like it would be well worth doing...

Could help make more sales on the first day as well, as it would eliminate one click and put the customer directly into the payment process, making it less likely they would get sidetracked

Also, since they just clicked on Buy, going to the cart may make more sense to the customer, as they have already read the product description and are ready to buy...

Thanks

It's not possible right out of the box with Datafeedr.

Your only option right now is to manually overwrite the affiliate URLs in the Factory with the cart URL.
