Default Feed update frequency?

Hello,

What is the frequency with which you update your feeds?

I have several sites where the prices seem to be out of date.

When I look at the feeds on the affiliate networks the prices are correct, but it appears as if they have not been updated in datafeedr.

One example is Easy Lunettes on Tradedoubler. The product "Maui Jim Banyans" is listed at 136 but in Datafeedr the price is 223.

The same is valid for Adtraction for Smartbuyglasses (ex. Gucci GG 3535: SEK1,388.95 in DF - 1202,95 on site).

Thanks,

Anders

We try to update every 2 days. If possible every day. So prices should be pretty up to date.

It's of course important that merchants keep datafeeds up to date as well.

Adtraction Sweden was updated today and 1,388.95 is the price for product "Gucci GG 3535" in today's Smartbuyglasses datafeed. So price in Datafeedr corresponds with the price in latest datafeed.

Today's update for Tradedoubler FR has still to run. But when checking the Easy Lunettes feed the prices in Factory for product "Maui Jim Banyans" still correspond with the prices in latest datafeed - that is a regular price of €223 and a sales price of €136.

Also note that Easy Lunettes hasn't updated its datafeed since 18/04/13!

Hmmm... that's strange... this is from the Product Search in Tradedoubler:

I tried downloading the feed too, but it's a bit difficult to see what's what... however both the higher and lower price could be present in the feed...

Not sure if this feed makes any sense to you :-)

Any idea?

Ah, looks like the lower price is listed as a sale price...

There are 2 price fields in the TD feed: price and previousPrice

If previousPrice exists (in this case 223) and > price (in this case 136) then Datafeedr sales price = price and Datafeedr regular price = previousPrice

To show the correct price you should display the saleprice (if any). Here are instructions on how to do that: http://www.datafeedr.com/videos?vide...rc=yt#videotop
