Store widget - Sort by Price wont work on other pages.

I have pages with store widgets, however when you click the Gifts by price (sort by price widget) it doesn't go to the store home page like the others do. Anyway to get this to go to store and sort by price from any other page on website or do I have to physically setup a new menu with the sort by price urls?

Hi Eric, Thanks for the quick reply. It happens on all pages with a widget section but for this example lets say it was http://www.idealprezzies.co.uk/online-stores/ if you click on the widget gifts by price, instead of it taking you to the website store page http://www.idealprezzies.co.uk/search-gifts it just adds /?price=50-100 at the end of the current url instead of going to http://www.idealprezzies.co.uk/searc...s?price=50-100 if that makes sense? what i really want is my visitors to be able to go to the store by clicking the gifts by price just like they are able to when the click the category widget or search for gifts widget. Is this possible?

Hi,

This is possible but you'll have to create a new widget for non-product listing pages.

Filters are meant to filter the current list of products on the page. So, typically filters don't appear when there are no products being listed.

So to get what you want you should duplicate your price filter and change your links from something like this:

[server.url type='fullpage' query='price=-150']

To something like this:

[server.url type='fullpage' query='view=search&price=-150']

That will send the user to the search results page with the price filtering.
