Default Products won't show on my pages

Store ID:
Website URL:
URL to page in question:

I have done everything as required in the instruction video, but none of my selected products appear on my pages (categories, sub categories).

Is it even possible with this program to upload products to sub categories?

The web site is : www.brandsbyingram.com

Kind regards Gitta Ingram

Hi,

Welcome to the forums!

Your store is here: http://brandsbyingram.com/store

If you want, you can add Datafeedr widgets to your sidebar. Here's more information about that: http://www.datafeedr.com/videos?vide...rc=yt#videotop

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Oke, but why will the products I have selected not appear in the right categorie? If I place them in a categorie, for example "Tops" they won't appear om my website after updating.

Hi,

The reason the products in your "Tops" category aren't appearing is because you have created a custom view for that category but have not formatted the view to show any products.

I would suggest doing this:

1. Go here: The Factory > Your Store > VIEWS > CATEGORY PAGE > Tops > View menu > Delete This View

2. Then click the [Update Settings Only] button on your site.

That should fix that issue.

I get as far as tops then I don't get >view menu, but 'ad new view'. So I'm not getting to the "delete this view"

Still not. I tried it now with jeans. Jeans is a subcategorie on my website, wich I also made in the factory, but still no jeans are displayed on my site. I did not have a view on this categorie.

Hi,

I see your Jeans category here: http://brandsbyingram.com/store/category/jeans/

However, I think some of the issues you are seeing is because you are viewing old, cached versions of your pages. Can you disable WP Super Cache while testing and then after you have your store set up the way you want, turn the caching plugin back on?

Hi,

Can you delete all images in the following 2 directories (images and thumbnails):

/wp-content/uploads/store/products/images/
/wp-content/uploads/store/products/thumbnails/

I'm not sure why your images aren't being uploaded properly.

Hi,

OK, things are better now.

http://brandsbyingram.com/store/category/jeans/
http://brandsbyingram.com/store/category/tops/

The issue was with the image URLs from the merchant. We weren't able to store them locally. So I performed these steps in your views.

Thnx, but as I can see it's not possible to display products in the subcategories as displayed on top of my page? I mean not on the side but on top?

Yes, that's possible but requires a few tweaks. Here's how to do it: /showthread.php?t=3448
