Default Tracking Parameters

Hi,

We are looking to track which specific products get sold at each network so we can go out and promote those products more.

From this page:

http://www.fitness-saver.com/uk/shop/swimming-goggles/

The 'clickref' value is always 9353.

I would like the clickref to be the product ID.

How do I adjust this?

I understand the params are as follows:
Webgains: &clickref=1234
AWin: &clickref=1234
TD:&epi=1234
CJ:&sid=1234

Which presumably you modify with the 'tracking parameters' configuration section.

Is there some special field I can put into 'TRACKING PARAMETERS' which will make datafeedr insert the ProductID?

Kind Regards,
David Hilditch

We have a placeholder PRODUCT_ID that can be used instead of or together with REFERRER_ID. For example, when we have a CJ url:

http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-@@@-10536045?url=whatever

and enter "1234" as "Affiliate ID" and "REFERRER_ID-PRODUCT_ID" as Tracking Parameter, the resulting url would be

http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-1234-10...75100001026054

(where "5555" is the referrer id and 475100001026054 the product id).

In any way I would never leave out REFERRER_ID because you will miss crucial information as REFERRER_ID allows you to track where your sales are coming from.

Always test your links when customizing the Tracking Parameter field as networks may have different requirements.

A - sign between REFERRER_ID and PRODUCT_ID for example may be accepted by some while other networks may not accept it.
