Columns are messed up

Perplexed as to why the front page colums are messed up. It is using 3 column template and any page past 1 seems to be okay.

Try changing this:

    <div class="prc">
      <medium>
        USD: [product.currency mode='sign'][product.price]
      </medium>
    </div>    

To this:

    <div class="prc">
      <medium>
        USD: <span>[product.currency mode='sign'][product.price]</span><br>
        <span> &nbps; </span>
      </medium>
    </div>    

Here: The Factory > Your Store > VIEWS > CUSTOM VIEWS > Sale Items > Product list module.
