Smile Multiple country currencies is confusing

Hi

When I list product category XYZ, it lists all products from all countries.

Which is what I want as I want an international site.

However, it lists different currencies too.

Could these be converted to local currency of the user?

I have some code to get that info - can that be passed to datafeedr.

Also, if the currency is converted, could the country of origin be listed too?

Many thanks,

John

Hi

The following variable stores the currency code of a product:
PHP Code:
$product->currency
For example, my US products' code is: USD.

You could pass the currency code and product price (available via $product->price) to your script to convert to the local currency.

We do not store what country the product originates from but with a small function you could convert the currency code into a country name.

Eric
