Default Related products shortcode

Store 38656

http://www.makeupminx.net/celebrity-...-jolie-makeup/
The title 'Related products' and the shortcode for 'related products' appears at the end of my post.

When I go to the wordpress admin area to edit the post, the shortcode is not anywhere within the post.

How do I fix this so that related products appear and the shortcode disappears?

This is what shows on the page [DFR:Related Products?c=%ci]

Thanks
Shannon

Hi

What shortcode are you using within your post to pull in store content?

I am using embed product detail page view (custom view) and the products have embedded correctly into post.

[DFRroduct?p=productidnumber]

But on the page I gave you, an incomplete shortcode for related products is visible on the website. It shows this after the embedded products.

Hi

You should create a new view to embed products into a post. The reason the shortcode is appearing is because Related Products relies on a category ID but there is no category ID when you embed a product into a Post.

Do you mean that each time I embed products into a new post, I have to create a new 'embed post' custom view?

I thought once I had created the custom view called 'embedded into post' that it would beused every time I embedded products to any post.

Hi

No, you just need to create it once. But in the code you pasted above, you are not using a view called 'embedded into post'. You are referencing the main Product Detail view (which won't work as desired).

Here are further instructions: http://www.datafeedr.com/docs/item/184
