Default PIC QUESTION

Store ID: 15oqziydka7c8jrx
Website URL: domainlook-up.net
URL to page in question: domainlook-up.net/store

Ok so yesterday you mentioned that the reason i don't see pictures is because there were no pictures provided by the merchant

so how do people usually solve this problem. Is there a way to remove the picture box to keep it from saying no picture available. What is normally done in this circumstance?

Hi

You have 2 choices:

1. Choose products from merchants who provide images for their products (most merchants provide images).

2. Remove the picture box from being displayed. That would require removing code like this from your Views area:

HTML Code:
<div class="thmb"><a href="[product.link]" title="[product.name]">[product.thumbnail tag='1']</a></div>
Personally, I would opt for option #1.

As you were adding products from Clickbank note that Clickbank does not offer images nor does it offer prices and proper product descriptions in the datafeed.

That's why you will see no images, prices and product descriptions for Clickbank products in the Factory.

In addition to the 2 solutions Eric suggested you can always add your own images (and product descriptions and prices) via the "more info" link that you find under each product record in the Factory.

I guess the problem that I am seeing is that none of the commission junction products have pictures either.

I have loaded a multitude of products with no pictures.

I can load pictures individually from both CJ and click bank. Both there has got to be an easier way.

Why would all of the pics not already be in the factory. I try to search for specific items in the factory and the product and the product will not even pull up.

I feel like I am doing something wrong.

Also do we have the option to load data feed because the affiliate sites offers the files

Hi

All of the products you've added are either from Clickbank or Commission Junction Coupons & Deals and CB never provides images and CJ Coupons rarely provides images.

Regarding the 2 products that do have images in the Factory, can you try this:

1. Go here: WordPress Admin Area > Settings > Permalinks
2. Set the Permalinks to something other than "Default"

If that doesn't display the images, try this:

1. Go here: WordPress Admin Area > Tools > Datafeedr > Directories
2. Click the [Set up] button
3. Then click the [Update Products and Settings] button

Hopefully that will display the images you have manually added.

Eric
