Default issue of load times

Hey Eric

I notice the issue of load times coming up quite a bit. I spent hours with hostgator who blamed the theme itself, then the owner of the theme blamed the content I was using and you go around and around in circles.

I have 4 sites each using the same theme and datafeedr plug-in. Many times when going direct to the site, the browser (does not matter which one I use) can sit there either displaying a message saying waiting for xxxxx.com and then it will load. All of them are the same at times.

Something is the issue whether it is sitting on a virtual server, the theme and the datafeedr script trying to populate the shop.

I even contacted my Broadband provider and got them to do a check on their service but not one them says yes there is an issue.

Did you enable all of the Datafeedr caching and optimization features: /showthread.php?t=5770 ?

Hi

Then I would guess it's not a Datafeedr issue. I would suggest using Firebug's Network Analyzing tool to determine what is causing the slow load.

This might be a shot in the dark ...

go to PLUGINS // Add New / and search for "DB Cache Reloaded FIX" plugin
(I set my settings to 1440 minutes)

Thanks 1800Hart.
