Default Looking for a webmaster to fix some issues on my site?

Hi Eric,

In relation to responce from earlier thread from yourself copy below.

You need to make sure that your primary menu is being generated using the <?php wp_nav_menu( array( 'theme_location' => 'primary' ) ); ?> call. Otherwise, it will not work.

My guess is that your theme is not relying on the core WP functions to generate the menu. Therefore you will need to ask the developer of your theme how you can append additional list items to the menu.

I eventually got hold of theme developer and this is what they replied.

Hi Paul -

I do not have any experience with this datafeeder plugin, you will need to contact the plugin authors for third party plugin support.

As far as Genesis is concerned, it does use the wp_nav menu function as fas as I know.

So right now I'm at sea.

Can you refer me to a webmaster who is familiar with datafeedr (as most of these theme designers don't have a clue about money sites or how they work). that can help me out, or even yourself. I would be happy to pay you to do so. I can forward all details and backend stuff via private email.

I was able to get it working. Genesis uses the hook wp_nav_menu_items which is required. It's a simple setting on the Genesis theme settings page.

2. Under "Primary Navigation" select the "Custom Nav Menu" option.

I don't have this option when I go there. Genesis dose not appear in Appearence in wp, it's on a separate tab in wp dashboard. but when I enter Genesis/theme settings, "select the "Custom Nav Menu option" is not an option???

sorry may have posted this in wrong place...!
