Default Example sites with Datafeedr?

Hi Eric,

Is it possible you could show me a few example sites where datafeedr has been integrated to a wp parent/child theme. I'm not convinced it is going to work.

Hi Paul,

I'm not sure what you mean... A parent/child theme still only displays 1 theme on your site at any given time. Parent/child themes are not for displaying 2 or more themes on your site at the same time AFAIK.

Hi Eric,

I guess you are not faimliar with the Studio Press Genesis frame work? Basically it is a basic frame work (referred to as the parent) with a theme that is changable (refered to a the child theme) http://www.studiopress.com/ My understanding is that most of the files are contained in the frame work.

So the end result is pretty much like any other theme but apparently they have very clean code and are designed for search engin effeciency.
Below is the theme I'm using; http://market.studiopress.com/themes/elle My site is at homeimprovement-reviews.com. I would like to combine datafeedr seemlessly into my site and would like to see a few other sites where a similar result has been achieve?
Building a datafeedr store on the 2010 theme is not really what I'm looking for as it will be replicated all over the internet. My idea is to combine my on content and reviews with datafeedr products. I hope it's getting a little bit clearer what I'm trying to achieve...!

Any ideas Eric?
Paul.

Paul
Datafeedr works perfectly with Genesis themes, don't worry about it, just go ahead and build your site, it will work!
Best wishes.

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for your reply but you have avoided the question..?

This thread ties in with another thread that Eric was dealing with which was " remove "store" from url?" on the forum. which lead slightly off topic to setting up a proper nav menu structure. If you refer to that thread you will see where I'm coming from...!

thanks

Sorry, just a user trying to help.

Maybe you should just try it?

Regards

This is not going to be a problem. Many of our users use the Genesis framework and child themes with Datafeedr. It's not an issue.

I don't have any examples for you but maybe you could post in the Showcase forums asking if anyone has an example to share.

Eric
