Default Second store instance

Eric, I want to rebuild my existing site (new theme, functionality etc.) and will probably do it in a sub folder then move it to root when ready. I want to keep everything intact (file paths etc) so all back linking efforts aren't lost so I thought I would use the existing store and make appropriate changes as needed.

Do I have to purchase a second store license to do this or is there a way to use my existing license (like an alias) as long as it is not a "live" site?

Also, if you were to rebuild an existing site, would you recommend the way I'm proposing or would you do it a different way?

Thanks

Hi

There's no way to build and use/test more than 1 store without a 5-site (or more) license.

Your way sounds good to me.

Eric
