Default Hostmonster

Store ID: ee3zfjkxe5i3w7os

My hostmonster account was just suspended due to CPU Throttling/Performance Issues

So I checked through their logs, and it looks like most of the problems are due to fetching data when the user clicks a filter widget.

So my question is: Would you be able to have a look at my site and give me some advice on how to make my site faster and the queries more efficient? I don't expect you to look at other aspects than datafeedr.

I am just now rebuilding my site, but what I mean is for you to have a look at the store on the datafeedr end and look for obvious ways for me to improve performance.

The filters are more server intensive so there's not a whole lot you can do. I see you have caching turned ON and that's good. I would make sure a cache is actually being created by checking the "cache" directory.... but as long as the directory is set up properly, it should be working.

This type of filtering searching can take its toll on a server and requires more resources than simple MySQL queries. Additionally, you have a very large store. This in itself will require a lot of server resources. You may need to consider upgrading to a VPS or dedicated server.
