Default color background for "product" widget

the random product boxes on my sidebar store have a dark blue background on top of the title area, instead of the expected white background. I am sure my css is doing something to it. Is there a line of code to add to the product widget to force that one to be white?

this is the code I use right now for that:

<div class="pl">
[product.each]
<div class="bdr">
<h2><a href="[product.link]" title="[product.name]">[product.name]</a></h2>
<div class="thmb"><a href="[product.link]" title="[product.name]">[product.thumbnail tag='1']</a></div>
<div class="prc">[product.currency mode="sign"][product.price]</div>
<div class="desc">[product.description cut='20 words']</div>
<div class="btns">
<a href="[product.link]" title="View [product.name]" class="dfbutton dforange dfmedium dfrounded">more details</a>
</div>
</div>
[product.end]
</div>

Hi

You need to paste that information into the post area of your post.

You should add the following code to your Custom CSS:
Code:
#r_sidebar h2 {
	color: #0000FF;
	background-color: #FFFFFF;
}

adding to custom css...do you mean adding a the factory "edit module settings" and paste inside the box custom css? I did that and it did not change anything.

Or did you mean in my css style wordpress editor?

Hi

Did you click the [Update Settings Only] button after you made the changes?

Hi

I see the issue... You'll need to make your changes to this file:

/wp-content/themes/revolution_blog-10/style.css

thanks eric, I see how it works now. Only problem is if I change the background color for the product box, then it also changes the background color for my title box

I guess this is beyond datafeedr, so I will figure out what to show. thanks

Here is the code in case is easy to solve but if not, no worries, good enough.
You can see the differences between right/left sidebars at thriftytraveling.com

#r_sidebar h2 {
background: #1A4E88; url(blue/images/headline_left.gif);
color: #0000FF;
background-color:#FFFFFF;
font-size: 14px;
font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Verdana;
font-weight: bold;
text-transform: none;
margin: 10px 0px 5px 0px;
padding: 3px 0px 3px 10px;
border-top: 3px solid #0000FF;
border-right: 3px solid #0000FF;
border-left: 3px solid #0000FF;
border-bottom: 3px solid #0000FF;

Hi

I think you could play around with the following settings to get what you need:

Code:
#r_sidebar h2 {
	color: blue;
	background-color: white;
}

#r_sidebar h2 a {
	color: blue;
	background-color: white;
}

#r_sidebar h2 h2 {
	color: blue;
	background-color: white;
}

#r_sidebar h2 h2 a {
	color: blue;
	background-color: white;
}
Eric
