Default Using category instead of product page

Eric,

What's the easiest way to use the category page as the product page (if that makes sense). Am working on a new store which will only have about 5 products per category and thousands of categories. Given the low number of products I do not feel I need to have two clicks to get the user interested (especially as all the product descriptions are very short).

Is there an easy way to add the product description, merchant logo, price etc into the category page? Would it simply be a case of adding the relevant tokens or would more need to be done?

Thanks,
Carl

Yes, it would be about that simple. I would suggest switching to the template 2 or 3 layout because you might have to modify your HTML and CSS to accomodate new tokens.
