Default Comparison Set Layout Question

Hi Eric

Is it possible to layout the product comparison set vertically? I'm asking b/c I'd like my sites visitors to see the product description and prices without having to scroll too much. I think it will make indexing my pages in Google easier since the search engine will be able to more easily read the descriptive text if it doesn't follow the comparison set links.

Hi

Isn't it already vertical? Product links show under each other...

Thansks for the quick reply. Below is an example of what I mean.

I think displaying this way may help the search engines better index the site too. As of now the pages that are indexed come up with a link only, no title or descriptive information.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm typing faster than I am thinking. I used that page as an example b/c of the way they have the buy buttons to the right of the descriptive text not above or below.

Hi

It sounds like you want to change the layout of your entire PRODUCT DETAILs view. That's easily doable.

Here's a video to show how to change where modules appear on a given page:

Then here's a video which shows you how to edit your PRODUCT DETAILs view:

So, basically you just need to move stuff around.

The cool thing is you can add multiple Product Detail modules to your PRODUCT DETAILs page in order to display some product attributes in one area and other product attributes in another area.

Eric
