Default How to have an independant page

HI,
Is it possible to create an independent page displaying its own products?

I have a toy site, and a banner on the home page which is going to offer teddy bears.

Can I take the feed and display all the "teddy" products in a different format to the rest of the site? i.e. whats set on default on store, category search page etc Just a one off page with its own layout so to speak.

Hi

Yes, just create a Custom View and format it however you want.

Then you can set up it's URL in the URL Settings pane.

For example, by default you already have a /sale-items page.

SO to feed the products onto the page domain.com/teddy-bears I have crated a category named steiff. How do I link this up to the teddy page?

Hi

Now you just need to modify the custom query string in the Product List settings ( ) section.

To display products from the steiff category, just insert c=668305 into the query string field and choose "use custom query".

That should do it.

Cheers Eric,
Out of interest and for future use, where did you get c=668305 ? From the "steiff" category somewhere presume?
