Default URLS

Hi There,

My product URLS are pretty SEO unfriendly take for example

http://www.freakfish.co.uk/surf-prod...0201674292909/

Is there anyway to shorten this? http://www.freakfish.co.uk/surf-prod...0201674292909/

Yes, you can shorten it but just make sure it doesn't conflict with any of your site's other URLs.

Just change your "Product detail page" field to %ps-%pi in your URL Settings.

But be warned, any product pages that were indexed will be 404s. You might try doing some .htaccess mod_rewrite magic to fix that but I'm not sure exactly how.

Yes, but then you have to be very aware that the store URLs don't conflict with each other or with any of your blog's posts or pages.

I, personally, wouldn't do it.
