Hi There,

I have URLS like this showing both product below, the first is a post and the second seams to have been indexed based on the price value. How do i stop this happeing?

Shall i just add to the robot.txt file Disallow: /?price=*

Or is there something in store as well?

I havent got that far yet, but i guess /?brand= will appear?

Hi

I'm not sure if that robots.txt method will work but it's worth a try.

I guess I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm guessing Google has figured out how to determine when filters and sorts are applied to category pages by now. Many, many ecommerce sites (and other types of sites) have the exact same type of URL filtering and sorting.

I guess make sure you are linking to your categories from prominent places on your site such as your header or sidebar.
