Sitemap- What works and what does not work?

We are trying to build a sitemap that we can submit to the search engines.
Tried using XML Sitemap Generator. - Runs to slow
Tried Inspyder Sitemap Generator - Processes 50,000 URL in a few hours, but does not seem to work well with nofollow tags. Or maybe we are just not entering them correctly.

I would assume that people are creating sitemaps and adding there products to them.
What is working for you.

but this does not seem to be passed through. All advise accepted.

Products are not included in sitemaps. We will be adding a sitemap for your store in version 3.3, which should be released in September.

I've been using GSiteCrawler v1.23 successfully. Once setup, it will index only what you want.
