loocking to track clickouts for my adwords campaign using google conversion tracking. is there a bestpractice you can recommend for this? im thinking either as onClick, simular to event tracking of google analytics, or having the code on the cloacked link redirection page?

What "conversion" do you want to track? Sales?

As affiliate sales are occuring on the merchant's site it's actually the merchant who should put the conversion code on a page the customer sees after the order.

I'm not really familiar with Adwords but I assume you mean with "clickouts" people clicking away from your Datafeedr site to another site?

And you want to track on which page of your site they leave your site, right?

First of all I'm not sure if the Adwords conversion tracking code is intended to be used in that way.

If there's a way to add the conversion code via an onclick tag to your link code you can do something similar as the user did in the thread I mentioned in the second post.

Other than that I really don't see a way to make this work.

But once again I'm no Adwords expert. So maybe it's best to ask Google Adwords support if and how the conversion tracking code can be added to links.
