Default Pricing gone overboard!

Hi,

Following through the 36 minute set up store video. I did as suggested and changed the product lay out from 3 columns to 1 column. I noticed the pricing all wrong - way way wrong.

Prior to that, I noticed that the pricing on my site was more expensive than the price at the merchant's site.

Eric, are you able to advise me with this or anyone who has come across this before please? This is my very first store so sorry to keep coming and asking questions.

Thanks
Trish

Hi

Can you provide a link to a few of the products on your site with the wrong prices?

Thanks,
Eric

Hi Eric, http://dogbedshowroom.com/?q=store is the part of the site I'm working in and you will see $500 for a wee dog bed is a bit extreme!

main site is http://dogbedshowroom.com

THanks
Trish

Hi

I agree, $500+ for a dog bed seems expensive but it appears to be the real price:

http://dogbedshowroom.com/?q=store/m...0200048116304/

http://www.unbeatablesale.com/epet19...e-001b2166c2c0

These products have the same retail and sale price on your site and on the merchant's site.

Thanks Eric and you're right. What I was doing was clicking on 'buy' and it wasn't deep linking but taking me to the home page with several similar products all much less than at my site.

My other problem is that I tried to change to 1 column rather than 3 for the products and I got that error_curl message again. I am with HostGator and last week I had to delete the plug-in then reinstall.

I went online with HostGator this evening, gave them my error message and they said it is a 3rd party scripting problem and not theirs. Are they right?

SHould I uninstall then reinstall the plug in each time do you think?

Thanks for all this support Eric, I would be drowning without it.

Trish

PS. If you advise that I post this separate issue in a separate thread, then I'm happy to do so.
