Default Additional tag? - How to

Hi

My store (id 31091) i showing clothing from various merchants. I have set constant subscriptions which filter products to each clothing category.
Now besides the usual filters and search options for the user (keyword, price, brand) i would like to give the user an additional improvement by adding a filter called "editorial selection", which would show only those products in the watched category, that were manually selected by my editorial team - I guess the way to do that would be adding a special tag to the products description? Is it possible with datafeedr?

Best regards
Charles

Hi Charles,

I don't think that functionality is available.

How about if I would use the "Specifications" gap in the "more info" form of the products, where I could put f.e. the word "selection". Could I then write a command, that when the user clicks the "editorial selection" filter, then it should show all the products with the word "selection" in the Specifications gap?
Basically the question is - can I write a query string that would search through the custom description form in the product details?

That won't work as the Specifications field is not searchable.

You could add a "special" word to a the product description that you could perform a search on to return only products that have that "special" word in the product description.
