Default How to Remove "?q=store" from Slugs

I am new to datafeedr and just working on my first store. I cannot seem to work out how to get rid of "?q=store" from my URL's. A typicaly category page on my site looks like the link below:

After looking in the showcase section, other peoples sites dont seem to have the ?q=store in their URL's but I cant work out how to get rid of it. I have tried playing around with the URL settings but to no avail.

My store ID is: 31130

Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot, Ryan

Hi Ryan

To get rid of that, you should turn on Permalinks ( WordPress Admin Area > Settings > Permalinks).

Ah ok, I had already done that when installing wordpress but it seems to have reverted back to default somehow. Maybe it didnt save my changes properly. Oh well its all ok now.

Thanks for quick response.
