Smile Include Datafeedr categories in Thesis 1.8 nav bar

Hi Eric -

I followed the link you gave me this morning /showthread.php?t=3448 and have a couple of questions:

1- That is specifically for Twenty-Ten - can I use it for Thesis 1.8?

2- Where do I do this -

"Add the following code in the template area of your new view:"

In that little CSS ID box???

Thank you for your help!

Hi

1. Thesis overrides the WP menu and I have no idea how to tap into their own custom menu function.

2. I think that is kind of null at this point as I'm not sure how to integrate the menu with Thesis and tap into their own custom functions.

In Thesis settings you can opt for using Wordpress' Own Menu System instead of Thesis' ones. Hope it helps something

Welcome Right now I had to recreate Wordpress menus in Thesis menu, as the Wordpress menu text did not appear (the menu label). I happened on two of my sites, did not find the reason why... and up until today Wordpress menus worked fine.

Dear Feri --
Thank you for your reply - are you saying that up until today the Wordpress Navigation Menu was working fine?

I tried to switch from the Thesis Nav Menu to the WP Menu to see if all my Datafeedr pages would appear, but they did not.

For now, I think I'll have to go back to the Thesis Navigation Menu and find another way to show links to my pages.

Best to you,

Kaete
