Default Which Category Does a Product Belong to?

If I have a product listed in multiple categories, when you are on the product detail page, what determines which parent category is displayed in the breadcrumb and the related items category?

And is it possible to change the default parent category?

And/or

Can I have a second breadcrumb that says: this product is also listed in this category..... ?

The "first" one the script encounters when doing a "depth-first" search. That is, if we have something like this...
  • catA
    • catA1
    • catA2
  • catB
...and a product is a member of catA1 and catB, this will be catA1.

I am not sure I understand how the "depth-first" search works.

Because on my site, you can see for example this product:
http://wallstickers-decals.com/store...57400235726421
It is shown under the Sports wall decals > MLB Baseball wall decals > player wall decals.

But I would prefer it was listed under Sports Decals by Team > MLB American League > Baltimore Orioles wall decals (where it is also listed)
http://wallstickers-decals.com/store...es-wall-decals

In alphabetical order, the Sports Decals by Team category comes first, and it is listed in a 3rd level sub category.
So why does it show under Sports Wall Decals?

I'm still looking into this. I will update this thread when I know what's going on.

Just to add some info to your search for the solution: the product was FIRST added to the Sports Wall Decals category.
It was only added recently to the new Sports Decals by Team category I created.

This is possibly why it is showing under the latter category. I would have to test this theory though, by looking at some other examples.

Hi

It there was a bug in the download code that prevented the products from being written depth-first.

You will want to upgrade to the newest version of the plugin and update your store for the changes to take effect.
