Post Default wordpress menu/post embed

Hello,

I am having a few minor problems that I'd appreciate your help with...

1. Getting my main and categories navigation bar to auto-populate from datafeedr... I have been reading all night and found these instructions on this forum:

Add to theme's functions.php file
// Filter wp_nav_menu() to add additional links and other output
function new_nav_menu_items($items) {
$cats = str_replace(array("<div>","</div>"), array("",""), datafeedr_tag('Category List?c=%ci'));
$items = $items . $cats;
return $items;
}
add_filter( 'wp_list_pages', 'new_nav_menu_items' );
add_filter( 'wp_nav_menu_primary_items', 'new_nav_menu_items' );

Then create a categorylist & insert below listed code
[category.list id='dfparent' before='' after='']
<li>
<a href="[category.link]" title="[category.name]">[category.name]</a>
[category.list id='dfchild' before='<ul>' after='</ul>']
<li>
<a href="[category.link]" title="[category.name]">[category.name]</a>
[category.repeat id='dfchild']
</li>
[/category.list]
</li>
[/category.list]

Update datafeedr and refresh website (does not work for me, using earthly touch theme by elegantthemes) please assist where possible I am lost when it comes to coding

Problem 2. I am unable to install products or category list inside a post. Followed instructions found here: http://www.datafeedr.com/docs/item/184 ... but when i update the store and insert the code, publish then refresh nothing happens.

Question - Is it possible to have store products automatically propagate into a post?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi

1. Are you using a WP Menu? Is your theme making a call to either wp_list_pages() or wp_nav_menu_primary_items() to generate the menu?

2. What have you done so far? What code are you using? It's impossible to troubleshoot this without knowing the URL and store ID.

3. Do you mean dripped products from the store into your blog?

Hi Eric,

Store Id: 30431
URL: http://cellacc.com

In response to your questions:
1. Yes, I was using wp menus but disabled them just before trying to implement the auto generation of main menu's using datafeedr (hope I stated this right) .. I am not really 100% clear on how to find if my theme is making a call to wp_list_pages(), however I tried scanning through the functions.php file and it was not there

2. I have added the - function new_nav_menu_items($items) {
$cats = str_replace(array("<div>","</div>"), array("",""), datafeedr_tag('Category List?c=%ci'));
$items = $items . $cats;
return $items;
}
add_filter( 'wp_list_pages', 'new_nav_menu_items' );
add_filter( 'wp_nav_menu_primary_items', 'new_nav_menu_items' );

code to the foot of the theme's functions.php file then created a custom view in the factory.

correction on url, its http://cellacc.biz

An additional question Eric, would it be easier for me to use dripfeed option in the categories and pages that I create? I'm sorry but i'm still trying to feel my way around

Thanks in adv

I think the problem is, you don't have a view in the Factory named Category List. The only view you have that seems related is Categorylst but that is misspelled, is missing a space and "List" is not capitalized. Try renaming the View name to Category List. That should work as long as your theme is making a call to either wp_list_pages or wp_nav_menu_primary_items. You could find that function reference in your theme's header.php file... probably.
