Default What do these options mean in Factory dialogs?

"Don't use layout for this view" & "Don't cache this view"

Keep seeing these options in Factory dialogs & in videos, but not really sure what they mean. Hate to think I should be using them when I'm not.

Anyone got a simple explanation to help me out, please? Like, what do they affect, & how?

If you want to override the CSS in your store, you need to check the "Don't use layout for this view". Otherwise, leave it unchecked.

If you have store caching turned ON here The Factory > Your Store > Store menu > Advanced Store Settings, you can prevent specific views from being cached. This is useful if you are displaying random products.
