Videos don't apply to the issue. Noticed Amazon wasn't available last night as well. Just set up a new datafeedr store and when going through the process of adding the merchants saw that Amazon was deactivated as a merchant. Thought it may be a glitch so just checked and now it is gone completely. I've checked some older datafeedr stores and it appears that the Amazon products are still available on the websites and you can even add products to store categories in the datafeedr factory. On this new datafeedr store I'm unable to find or add Amazon as a merchant.

If you look at the at provided link you'll see that Amazon is no longer an available option under 'Your Merchants'. Since you can no longer add it under 'Your Merchant's you can not select in 'Store Merchants'. And since you can no longer select it for your 'Store Merchants' you can add 'Affiliate IDs & Tracking Parameters. So you can't add Amazon products to your store.

Hopefully this issue can be resolved quickly. Amazon is definitely a popular merchant in my book. Thanks, Ryan

Hi,

Amazon is treated completely different than all other affiliate networks.

To add Amazon products to your store, please watch the videos Stefan has linked to above. That will explain how to insert your Amazon affiliate ID and select products from the Amazon network.

I hope this helps,
Eric

You don't have to select Amazon under "Your Merchants" or "Store Merchants". This has never been instructed in the above tutorial videos.

As Eric already mentioned Amazon is treated completely different than all other affiliate networks.

Therefore you only have to enter your Amazon API keys in Factory and plugin and enter your Amazon affiliate ID in Affiliate IDs & Tracking Parameters as instructed in the videos.

To prevent confusion we tried to hide Amazon from the "Your Merchants" section but by doing so the Amazon affiliate ID record in Affiliate IDs & Tracking Parameters became hidden as well.

We reverted the change and the Amazon affiliate ID record in the Affiliate IDs & Tracking Parameters should be visible again.
