Default Limit search results for some merchants

Hi

I've looked at the forums to find out if this is possible but couldn't find anything. I'm sorry if this is repeated.

Is there a way to limit the subscription search results for some merchants only? For example, if you have 10 merchants selling footwear but you want to limit the search results to just some of them, like you want only 10 results from merchant 2, 4, 6 and 8. And the reason you may want to do this is because some merchants have tons of products in their feed and you just want to show few products from them.

Is this possible?

Yes, use the merchant filter:

Thanks Eric. What I meant is to do the search with all merchants enabled but limit the number of products to some of them. Here's another example: you choose women footwear as keyword, footwear as tag, image, product description contains 'women footwear' and 'ladies footwear', and you don't want to use merchant filter because you want results from all the 10 of them. However, you want all the results from merchants 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 10 but, say, 10 results from merchant 2 and 4, 15 results from merchant 6, and 20 results from merchant 8.

Is this possible? Because if not I'll end up with so many subscriptions for footwear. Suppose you have more than footwear in your store, that will be tons of subscriptions.

Hope this is clearer.

Hi,

I understand now. Unfortunately that's not possible.
