Default datafeed taking entire page?

wasn't sure how to word the above. But what I am trying to do is add a table of linked images under the homepage datafeed in wordpress. I was using a responsive row of 4 images as explained here. http://www.themesandco.com/snippet/c...yout-examples/

It seems to work until the page is live and the datafeed is the only thing that shows up on the page. I'm assuming it is loading over the images? This might be a wordpress question, I'm not sure. Is there any way to make the datafeed load below or above other elements on the page?

Hi,

Datafeedr replaces all content of the page. So if you add text or images or anything to the "store" page content area, it will be replaced with the store.

To get around that, you will need to create a template file just for your store and add what you want directly to the template file.

More info on that:

Hey Eric, thanks for the info. . The links you provided are a little daunting though! Is what I'm trying to do with the feed and other content on the same page a very difficult proposition or does it just appear that way? I'd like to have just one row of 5 "featured images" from datafeedr and then these other image links and maybe some other content to explain to new visitors what it is they are seeing. But I'd really like the feed right there on the home page. Thought this would be easy to do. have you ever tried this yourself? If so, is there an easy way? So far everyone I've asked for help wants no part of it after checking out your links!
Thanks..

Hi,

Then why not add the content you want to appear on your store's front page to your Store's Front Page view.

Here's a video on how to change the layout of your store's front page:

Here's a video on how to advanced layouts:

Adding images and text to a view is simple. Watch the videos and I think you will understand.

That sounds awesome. I'll check it out this weekend. Want to commend you on the support you and Stefan give and how quickly you respond. Thanks
