Default Custom CSS

Store ID: 44757
Website URL: www.themodernartclub.com
URL to page in question: all product detail pages e.g. http://themodernartclub.com/store/pa...2200203672456/

Hi Eric
1. I am trying to change the size of the images on product details pages. I have tried this before in a previous version of the site and it worked, but now I cannot get it to work.

I am using the following code in the custom CSS
#view .sp .rc
{
margin-left: 395px;
padding-left: 10px;
}
#view .sp .lc .thmb { width: 85px; }
#view .sp .lc .thmb img
{
max-width: 385px;
width: expression(this.height < this.width && this.width > 385px ? '385px' :true);
}

I have updated products and settings and cleared all caches.
Do you know how I can fix this?

2. My understanding from looking at forum posts is that it is not possible to change the size of images on a custom view embedded in a post. Is that correct or can I use the same method as above.

Thanks very much

Russell

sorry - code used as below without the "85" typo (I have tried various image sizes but nothing happens).

#view .sp .rc
{
margin-left: 395px;
padding-left: 10px;
}
#view .sp .lc .thmb { width: 385px; }
#view .sp .lc .thmb img
{
max-width: 385px;
width: expression(this.height < this.width && this.width > 385px ? '385px' :true);
}

Hi,

This should work:

Code:
#view .sp .lc .thmb img { max-width: 300px; }
#view .sp .rc { margin-left: 310px; }

Hi,

Can you make sure this file is writable:

Hi Eric
Thanks, according to my host's support, the file is writable unless the plugin requires 777 permissions (?).
I have manually edited the CSS file and the changes work fine.
However I cannot get the datafeedr update process (either auto or via manual /download upload of the store file) to make the changes to the CSS file.
Do you have any further advice on this
Many thanks

Hi,

That's strange. I guess you could try deleting the CSS file from your server, clicking the [Update Settings Only] button and see if the new changes get added when the file is reimported.
