Default Datafeedr + Wordpress for Joomla

I've set up a Wordpress site using Datafeedr without any issues. However, I would like to use it on my Joomla sites as well and I have purchased Wordpress for Joomla. This component installs a fully working Wordpress blog inside your Joomla site. The Datafeedr plugin installs without any problems, however, images and product links aren't working. Can anyone tell me how to get this to work?

Hi,

Unfortunately we can't provide support for the plugin being used in conjunction with other CMS's.

Fair enough, but I'm sure there is someone out there who made this work somehow. I suspect it's not something very complicated and that it can be done. Joomla seems to add a "q?=" to the store urls when I compare them to a clean Wordpress site with datafeedr.

Hi,

q?= is added by Datafeedr when you have not enabled permalinks. Try settings Permalinks to something other than "Default" in your WP settings.

Thanks, Eric. I really appreciate the feedback even though you can't officially provide support.

Eric, thanks a bunch for the tip. I started out with a fresh install of both Joomla, Wordpress and the Datafeedr plugin and changed the permalink structure in WP to 'post title. That was it, all the links and images are working!
