Default make category bolder than sub-category

http://saveongolf.net/store

Hey gentlemen...some of my categories have a lot of sub-categories. I'd like the main category to be a bolder font than the subs so they stand out when the tree is opened. Is that pretty easy?

Thanks,
Ken

Hi,

This CSS should work:

Code:
#wdgt_cl > ul > li > a { font-weight: bold; }
#wdgt_cl .active ul { font-weight: normal; }
#wdgt_cl .active { font-weight: bold; }

I did try adding it to the custom CSS in wordpress and no change. That's why I asked if I did something wrong.

watched video and added the code and still no change. Here is the code I added to the bottom of my stuff already in Custom CSS in datafeedr...

#wdgt_ss input[type="submit"] {background: -moz-linear-gradient(center top , #FAA51A, #F47A20) repeat scroll 0 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) !important;
border: 1px solid #DA7C0C !important;
color: #FEF4E9 !important;}

#wdgt_ss input[type="checkbox"] {vertical-align: top !important;margin: 0.5em 4px 0 10px !important;}

#wdgt_ss label {display:inline !important;line-height:2em !important}

/* emb End styling of Simple Search Widget */

#wdgt_cl > ul > li > a { font-weight: bold; }
#wdgt_cl .active ul { font-weight: normal; }
#wdgt_cl .active { font-weight: bold; }

Hi,

I always suggest disabling your caching plugins when developing or modifying your site. Caching plugins can cause a GREAT deal of frustration and time loss.
