Default Multiple questions

Hi there,

Here's my store: http://goo.gl/GyZ4mQ
  • I'd like to have the "product items boxes" in the product list on the store front page less high.
  • Category image: As you can see I managed to set an image for the store front page, by setting a featured image through my wp dashboard. But this same picture appears on all of my category pages. I would like to set different images per category page. I tried it through category properties, but that didn't work.
  • Also I would like to replace the category name, with images as described above.
  • I'd like a smaller "font" for product name. I tried to change <h2> with something like <h5> of <h4>, but that results in messed up columns and rows output..
  • Change the name in from mywebsite/store into mywebsite/another name, but without messing with php things I don't understand.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

For smaller boxes, try adding the following code to your Custom CSS (instructions):

Code:
#view .col1 .pl h2, #view .col1 .pl h2 a { font-size: 14px; }
#view .pl .col3 .thmb { height: 80px; }
#view .pl .col3 .thmb img { max-height: 70px; }
Here's how to add and display category images:

For smaller product names, see code above.

You can change your URLs here: The Factory > Your Store > Store menu > URL Settings. Here's more info on that: http://www.datafeedr.com/videos/?vid...rc=yt#videotop

Thanks Eric!

One more thing: so far I managed to adjust the "boxes" with the provided code. But the product image itself is very small right now, which code do I have to use to get the image slight bigger? Thanks again!

Hi,

The images are kind of the problem... They have a lot of vertical whitespace as you can see from this image:

Therefore the larger you make the image, the more white space you will have in your product listing.

Eric
