Default Adding products to a category questions

Hi,

Ok, so I know the topic title is a generic, but I didn't know what else to put

I can see you can block products from a search which means it removes those products, BUT I have no idea how to go thru 25 pages of search results & block every product that's not relevant.

Can you guys please let us choose from a drop down a "show all", so I don't have to click on every page & scroll down each page to make sure the correct products are in there.

Any suggestions on how I can speed that up?

Also, what should I do if the image for a product is missing? Remove it?

Should I notify you guys or the merchant & just copy & paste the title of the product?

Thanks

Michelle

Also, when I click the "block" button, I can't tell that it's been blocked from the search result. It doesn't change color or become depressed, etc. Unless I just can't see it.

Hi,

I would suggest tweaking your search subscription to work on excluding unwanted products from your categories. Use additional search filters such as merchant or price or tags to further filter your search.

Here's more info on setting up advanced searches:

For missing images, I would check the "images" filter and force the search to only return products with images. If you find a merchant with many missing images, you should contact the merchant of the merchant's affiliate manager.

The blocked products will become removed from the category but they will still show in your searches just so you know they still exist.

Ok, I got it. I think I'm getting it now.

And about this...

"Can you guys please let us choose from a drop down a "show all", so I don't have to click on every page & scroll down each page to make sure the correct products are in there."

Thanks Eric

Ok, I checked off that the products have to have an image, & I still got at least one (didn't check the other pages) that has a missing image. So that's not working.

Hi,

What that means is that it is working but the merchant is providing a broken URL for their image. I would contact the merchant about their broken images.

Ahh, yes, it did say "broken", I remember now.

So there's no way to get rid of that?

Should I just save it as is?

Hi,

Or you can block that product from your category or store.
