Lightbulb CSS help

Store: 35251

url: http://www.chinawholesalectronics.com/

Greetings

I changed the theme to Twenty Twelve and am going to need some help just to get the site looking as I want it.

Currently the search box is aligned left and their is a huge gap under the header image. I would like the search box aligned right right under the image.

Also need a grey bar running across the width of the page that the search box sits in.

Here is the css code for the search box

Code:
#view .srchform input {
    display: block;
    text-align: left;
}
button, input {
    line-height: normal;
}
button, input, textarea {
    border: 1px solid #CCCCCC;
    border-radius: 3px 3px 3px 3px;
    font-family: inherit;
    padding: 0.428571rem;
}
Many thanks

Hi,

You can add this to fix the search form:
Code:
#view .srchform input { display: inline; }
As for the space, that's because your <h1> tag is still in the code. You should remove it using this method: /show...6077#post16077

You will be editing this file: ~/wp-content/themes/twentytwelve/content.php

Hey Eric

Thanks for that.

There is a bit to do in adding what I am looking to do just wanted to make sure that you do not mind me asking on the forum as it is more to do with the design that datafeedr itself

I added some text on this page now and I would like it to display as a bar 100% across the page and in bold white - only ofr this page though - this is a the front page.

the css code

Code:
     #view .modwrp .modcont {
    margin: 0 10px 10px 0;
    padding: 5px;

}
What I am copying

Code:
background-color: #323F14;    color: white;
    float: left;
    font-size: 20px;
    font-weight: bold;
    margin-top: 50px;
    text-align: center;
    width: 100%;
}

Hey Eric

 * different template.
 *
 * @package WordPress
 * @subpackage Twenty_Twelve
 * @since Twenty Twelve 1.0
 */

get_header(); ?>

    <div id="primary" class="site-content">
        <div id="content" role="main">

            <?php while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>
                <?php get_template_part( 'content', 'page' ); ?>
                <?php comments_template( '', true ); ?>
            <?php endwhile; // end of the loop. ?>

        </div><!-- #content -->
