Sitemap Error

Hi Eric

I keep getting a 404 error in Google Webmaster tools when I attempt to upload the sitemap I made in the The Factory for my datafeeder store.

I looked through my directory and cannot find the sitemap file. Any idea where it typically gets saved after the update is made?

Hi Eric,

I created the site map within The Factory following your instructions and using the name store/sitemap as you suggested. I then updated my datafeedr settings within Wordpress as you suggested too.

When I attempt to add the sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools I get a 404 not found error. I searched for the sitemap file on the server and so far cannot find it anywhere.

Do you know where it gets saved to after updating the Datafeedr settings?

The key information I need to know at this point is your Store's ID. You have more than one store and I don't know which one you are referring to.

I am assuming you submitted this URL to Google:
http://www.stayfitcentral.com/store/sitemap

But you have not enabled WordPress Permalinks therefore that URL will result in a 404. You will need to use this address or enable permalinks:

http://www.stayfitcentral.com/?q=store/sitemap
