Default Store too big

Hi there

Was just getting close to 100 k products, which has been a mission for me to reach. Then I recieved the following message:

"err_fatal_too_big_shop

The store contains too many products"

How do I handle this, and get as many products as I want in the affiliate shop?

My url is: http://www.gesjaeften.dk

Best regards

Hi,

You need to reduce your store size. You can use the "Limit" filter in your search subscriptions to ensure that each search subscription doesn't add more than X number of products to each category.

For example, if you have 50 categories you can set the "Limit" of each category to 2,000 so that no more than 100,000 products are added to your store.

Hi Eric

I am interested in creating Denmarks biggest online marketplace... So less than 100 k is not an option...

Alternatively I am thinking ind the lines of creating several stores on one website? Subdomain? Is that possible? As simple as possible is preferred!

Best regards

There are a couple of options.

As you suggested you could use subdomains (or directories).

Each subdomain (or directory) will have the same 100k product limit.

Or if you're a developer or have access to one you can consider using our new API.

No product limitations here.

More info about our API: https://v4.datafeedr.com

Hi,

Any store you build in the "Factory" is limited to 100,000 products.

I'm not sure which new system you are referring to but it's a good chance any other system will not have the same URLs as the Factory creates.

Hi,

If you are using the API, then you can get access to up to 25,000,000 products per month.

Hi Eric and Stefan

The Keys are there now and doesn't return error codes - so think they are as they should be ... Next problem is that either premium press or datafeedr doesn't find the products from the merchants... I have added my affiliate ID (from TradeDoubler) and is accepted by at least one merchant (coolshop) where I know the datafeeds are there, works and which products they have from the old datafeedr system.

We have tried to replace the library ... didn't work either!

Thoughts about the problem:
In the old datafeedr system you had to accept merchants both to the datafeedr system as such and to each store where it is implemented... This function seems to have been excluded when using premiumpress and datafeedr (or am I missing a cruscial detail??) Can that have anything to do with the problem?
I have only tried to import from TradeDoubler anything special to be aware of there?

The site we are using to test this product is http://shaffods.co.uk

Hope you can help me out?

Best regards
Laust

Hi,

Because PremiumPress is generating the API queries, I think you'll need to send them an example of your query and ask them why it's not working.
