Default Error loading stylesheet (sitemap)

1. Configured sitemap according to directions using "store/sitemap" location.

2. Changed sitemap url to the one I want since it was having errors no matter what location I used.

3. Sitemap should now be found at: http://anniversarygiftsshop.com/sitemap

4. Receiving error message using firefox:

"Error loading stylesheet: A network error occurred loading an XSLT stylesheet:http://anniversarygiftsshop.com/wp-content/plugins/datafeedr/sitemap.xsl"

5. tried it in explorer and it also did not work

6. FYI, in URL settings of factory I ran a test and the results come back that the urls are miss-matched, but that never used to happen.

7. store is working fine other than the sitemap and the erroneous url miss-match report.

Any help in getting the sitemap to work would be appreciated,

Robert

Hi

When was the last time you clicked the [Update Products and Settings] button?

Hi

Whether XSL can be accessed is controlled by the .htaccess file in the datafeedr directory.

The simplest option to fix that is to delete the .htaccess from the plugin folder (wp-content/plugins/datafeedr/.htaccess) via FTP and repeat the plugin update. If that doesn't work, we'll go to plan B.

The XSL file is not essential and only used when viewing sitemaps in browser. Google and other services don't use it.

so, i checked the htaccess files in the datafeedr directory.

Check it out - there was the expected .htaccess and another _htaccess.

The _htaccess was modified this morning and is the one disallowing xsl.

Oh, I checked another datafeedr store that I have not tried adding a sitemap to, and there is not an " _htaccess" file just the normal ".htaccess"

Any idea what happened, if it is normal?

I plan to simply delete the the new _htaccess file and leave the other one.

Hi

Yes, I believe that's from us. We had to rename it because of a bug in an earlier release of 3.3.

Yes, you can delete it.

Resolved.

Since Google doesn't care about the xsl I am simply ignoring the problem for now. Google accepted the sitemap as is. Maybe later when I have more time I will delete or modify the _htaccess files for all my stores.

Thanks for your help Eric,

Robert
