Default Wordpress MU Question

I'm setting up some sites and need to decide ASAP if I am going to do separate WP installations or a wordpress MU site.

I know that datafeedr doesn't officially support MU, but am wondering if anyone out there has done so successfully.

I know that if I go with the MU set up, the datafeedr plugin is installed on the top site, and then passed to each site underneath it. My plan is to have each of these have a different datafeedr store.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

I am using Datafeedr on "Virtual Multi Blog" which is a clever, easy way to achieve some of the benefits of WPMU.

And Datafeedr works a treat in this environment... so you should not have any problems on WPMU.
