Default Colour filter issues

Hi,

I used the code in this thread /showthread.php?t=3853
to create a colour filter. However, it's basically a simple word search and the results that you get are not very accurate.

Is there a way to improve the colour filter to make it more accurate?

Many thanks,

Eugene

Hi Eric,

In that case can the color filter be based on the multiple word search. For example..

... query='word=yellow,amber,lemon,etc'

It doesn't seem to work for me. But maybe you know a trick.

Sorry, we are doing a fashion shop and color filter is a critical..

Thanks,

e

Hi,

Yes, that will work.

You need to do this: query='word=yellow|amber|lemon'

The pipe "|" acts as an "OR" statement.

Does this only work using the variable "word"?

I tried it with variables "name" and "description" and they didn't seem to work.

Hi,

Yes, only for the variable 'word'.
