Default Error: Store data cannot be read

Sorry if this is a dup, but the answers I saw looked specific to hostgator? I am not using hostgator. Any specific ideas? Thanks.

Hi
  1. Try going to this page: WordPress Admin Area > Tools > Datafeedr > Debug
  2. Under Packet Size, set it to 500 and save.
  3. Then try running the update again.

Eric

Hi Eric,

When I click on debug on left menu, It opens a page with 6 topics

Debug log
Email Notifications
Reset store
Factory Host
Gzip Compression
System Information

I don't see any option to view package size or change any settings???

Actually it should be here: WordPress Admin Area > Tools > Datafeedr > Updates

Scroll down to the bottom and change the following two fields to 500.

1. Download Packet Size
2. Read Packet Size

After those 2 fields are set to 500, it should help with this issue.
