Default Sitemap error - wrong format

Store ID: 35603

As of this morning Google Webmaster Tools is reporting that my sitemap is in an incorrect format although I haven't changed it - was set to /store/sitemap. I have resubmitted using the path & filename as the image below but still reports the same. I have updated the site since this error (using Plugin:3.6.3996) but again the same message.

Hi

Your sitemap is not here:
http://YOURSITE/wp-content/plugins/datafeedr/sitemap.xml

It's here:
http://YOURSITE/store/sitemap

You should resubmit the 2nd URL (with your real domain name) to Google Webmaster Tools.

Hi,

I said in my initial post that /store/sitemap is what was in WT already and until this morning was workling fine. I tried the latter sitemap location to try and resolve the error.

/store/sitemap throws this error:

Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.

Hi

On the Google Webmaster page, what happens if you click the Test Sitemap button?

When I click that for a sitemap of my own site at the same URL as your site, I get:
Quote:
Error details: No errors found.
We are using the supported sitemap format as recommended by Google. It's based on the Sitemaps.org protocol (http://www.sitemaps.org/).

Can you let us know what the Sitemap Test tells you?

Eric

Hi Eric,

Seems it maybe a permissions error - disregard for now and I'll report back.
