Default Faster Way Making Comparison Sets

Making a comparison set is quite a manual task having to individually go through every unique item in a store.

Just like products is there a way to save searches as comparison sets, with auto update?

Or an automated way to auto populate price comparisons for items in the store on larger websites. Am I missing any steps in the process?

I can understand why that might be difficult and not possible.

Hi

Welcome to the forums!

We know it's quite manual at this time. We haven't been able to crack the comparison store building code as it's very tricky and potentially very server intensive either on our server or on yours, depending on how it's implemented.

Hello Eric.

Thanks for the reply. I understand how that would be difficult for the server to constantly make comparison sets. Why not use all your clients as a source of premade comparison sets.

I know I will be making a ton of sets myself. Too bad something like this couldn't be crowed sourced. I wouldn't mind making comparison sets and others using it.

For example if I make a caparison set for a certain product, another customer of yours can choose a premade set that I or someone else did, or choose to make a new one for others to change and review for their own website use.

But great product, that's the only limitation I noticed.

Thanks.

Hi

Yes, crowd sourcing is an option but then you'll have the same comparison set as dozens of other people therefore you would lose the uniqueness of the comparison set. That's the big negative of crowd sourcing on affiliate products.
