Default Formating Sub Category Links in its Parent?

Hi,

Might have missed the how-to somewhere but I want to re-position the links produced at the top of a category page which point to its child sub cat pages.

Are there instructions somewhere for this - assuming it can be done.

Thanks.

Hi

Welcome to the forums!

Yes, you can reposition them just by moving the Category list module around on your Category View page here: The Factory > Your Store > VIEWS > CATEGORY PAGE > Default.

Here's how to move modules around: http://www.datafeedr.com/videos?vide...ayout#videotop

Thanks Eric but I'm obviously not catching on to something here.

I've looked at vids many times but having difficulty working it out.

On the page below you will see the links to sub cats which I want to list in a different way.

I can't find where they are listed in order for me to do this.

Hi

That's because you created a custom view for your Seed Potato category here: The Factory > Your Store > VIEWS > CATEGORY PAGE > Seed Potato.

My advice, unless you really need the custom view for that specific category, is to delete the Category Page view named "Seed Potato". Then you will be able to make all of your template changes in one place.

If you really need a separate view named Seed Potato, then you can make the sub-category list changes here: The Factory > Your Store > VIEWS > CATEGORY PAGE > Seed Potato > Category list module

Eric
