HI, how do I add this code [product.thumbnail tag='1' direct='1'] - to the featured products. And where do I control which product is featured, cant seem to find it.

Here's how to control what products appear in your Featured Products:

In the Product list module that's mentioned in that video, if you click the theme settings icon () you will find [product.thumbnail tag='1']. You can change that to [product.thumbnail tag='1' direct='1'].
