Hi i am putting in the key words for my product search fro example
mens shoes

It brings me up over 2000 which is great but when i scroll down there is womens shoes also included how can omit this from the search as i only sell mens shoes? Or do i have to go through the lot to filter out them all.

any ideas would be great

Hi,

You can use negative searches. Try:

mens shoes -women|woman|ladies|lady

Here's a lot more information regarding how to use search filters to your advantage:

Thanks Eric do you have the facility for drop down boxes to be used at the top of each category?

Thanks

I have attached an example. Sorry i didn't explain myself properly.

Maybe not a grand as this but something similar maybe??

So this would be at the top of the page and underneath would be said category.

Thanks
Mark

Hi,

That's not really possible because you are using 2 fields (size and color) which don't corresponde to any fields in the database.

The best you could do is a modification of this: /showthread.php?t=6778

Instead of adding them as Widgets, you could add them to Text modules on your Category Page view.

Eric
