Impressions in CJ not being recorded...sort of
 
Hi Guys. I searched the forum but did not see this issue specifically solved.

I have 5 sites that use the Datafeedr plugin. Only one of these sites is showing any impressions in CJ. All are showing clicks but only one (the original site i signed up with) is showing impressions in CJ. The four having issues were added to the factory at a later date. Except for the merchants all of these stores are configured the same. I have also verified that the merchant IDs are correct in the Factory.

I have also worked with CJ support to confirm that their feeds do have the appropriate image tracking URLs. So I'm just trying to determine where the issue may lye. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi

We do not pass the image tracking URLs to the store so I guess I'm not sure why your first site is tracking impressions at all... Do you have links on your first site which you added directly from CJ?

Hi Eric,
We do have image tracking URLs that we have added manually on a few pages so that would explain the impressions we are currently seeing then.

Do you have any plans on adding the image tracking functionality to the store? If so, when? If not, are there any other options?

As you know having this functionality is critical to determining our CTR and determining which of our campaigns and splits are working best.

CJ feeds do indeed provide a field IMPRESSIONURL which is a 1x1 pixel gif URL but there are no plans to process and add this field.

This is currently not possible because of the above reason I mentioned.

Yes, but not in the near future. This will probably be a v4 feature as it requires major changes to our database.
